Technology has evolved dramatically, yet on-site communication still relies on outdated tools like bulky walkie-talkies. While smart apps attempt to fill the gap, they often fall short, failing to provide the intuitive, efficient experience needed in fast-paced environments.
Tolk is my response to this challenge—a wireless mono earbud designed to simplify communication for professionals in crowded, high-pressure spaces, such as film sets. Its defining feature, the essential blue knob, prioritizes tactile, physical interaction, offering quick access to critical functions while respecting the rhythm of traditional workflows.

On-Site Communication Experience Needs An Update
Today’s onsite communication heavily relies on walkie-talkies. The interactions we have with walkie-talkies have not changed over the past several decades. There is an opportunity to integrate existing mature techs to evaluate the experience.
