Willow
Willow Headset
2021 | Project in Jabra
During my internship at Jabra, I contributed to the concept design of the entry price headset, Willow, and also led the design of its accessories, such as the charging dock and pouch. This professional headset is designed to meet the demands of the hybrid workday.
With details such as an ear cushion laser pattern inspired by papercutting art and a portable charging dock, Willow is an innovative design piece that maximizes comfort and convenience while remaining cost-effective.
To maximize comfort without increase in cost, I applied a paper cutting art technique into the laser cutting pattern on the ear cushion PU leather to ingeniously maximizes the stretchiness and elasticity.
The first portable charging dock designed for hybrid working schedule.
To ensure the Willow headset received the most compact yet stable support, over 10 structures were prototypes and tested.
While ensuring the stability, it becomes critical on how to protect your headset from this durable but rigid dock.
The sustainable pouch is designed to meet the need of neat organization and protect each component with very little cost.
